As part of the Mend n Mingle series, Bring new texture and colour to holes in woollens using needle felting. Learn to shape wool fibre into strong and whimsical patches that bond beautifully with your base fabric. Introduce characters into your mending or just keep it simple. Workshop leader: Jane Richens - local multi disciplinary artist.

Workshop leader: Jane is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, biodiversity farmer and active community member living on Gringai country in Dungog in regional NSW. She works across textiles, sculpture, video, performance, wearable art, photography, print making and creating events that merge science and art. She is adapting her felting practice to mending and be warned, she has incredibly creative ideas that will help you reinvent cloths and other items, you thought were headed for the bin.
